We are the German market representatives of the Finnish ThermoWood producer Lunawood. But being a wood with altered properties means also that making thermowood fire-proof requires a specific fire retardant, tested and certified on thermowood. The timber will turn a silver grey colour if left to weather naturally. The changes to the physical properties give Thermowood greater stability over untreated or chemically treated timber.
